1. Scope

SemantiCord provides a client‑side trust & narrative interface. This page explains what limited data is processed when you visit new.semanticord.org.

2. Philosophy

Minimal collection. Cryptographic generation (hashing, signing, validation) happens locally in your browser. We avoid storing personal data unless you explicitly submit it via the contact form.

3. Data We Process

• Contact Form: Name, email, company/project, and message. Used solely to respond and explore collaboration.
• Client‑Side Operations: Memory Units / Receipts you generate are kept in memory only; they are not transmitted unless you publish via future registry features.
• Temporary Logs (Server): Standard web server access logs (IP, user agent, timestamp, path) retained for short security/ops window (max 30 days) then deleted or aggregated.
• No Tracking Scripts: We do not embed third‑party analytics or marketing pixels by default.

4. Cookies

No persistent cookies are set. Session storage or local storage may be used for ephemeral UI state (e.g., form preferences) — not for tracking.

5. Legal Basis

If you are in the EEA/UK, processing of contact form data is based on legitimate interest (responding to inbound requests). You can request deletion at any time.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent data. Service providers (hosting / email) may process contact form submissions strictly to deliver the message.

7. Retention

Contact submissions are reviewed periodically and older threads purged when no longer operationally needed.

8. Security

Transport is encrypted (HTTPS). Cryptographic integrity of user‑generated artifacts remains local unless explicitly published.

9. Your Rights

Applicable jurisdiction rights (access, correction, deletion). Contact us to exercise them: privacy@semanticord.org.

10. Third‑Party Links

External links (e.g., recap PDFs) follow their own policies; we recommend reviewing those before interaction.

11. Updates

Material changes will update the date at the top. For significant alterations we may highlight in the UI.
